The Skagit Valley USBC will host the 3rd Annual Match Play Singles bowling tournament on Sunday October 6, 2019 at Riverside Lanes in Mount Vernon, Washington. The bowling tournament has a fun and unique format that includes qualifying, round robin match play and a stepladder finals for both scratch and handicap bowlers.
All bowlers will bowl 3 games of qualifying. The top 8 bowlers will advance to a scratch division based on scratch total. The remaining bowlers will have handicap added to their scores and the top 8 bowlers with handicap will advance to a handicap division. To register online, complete the form below. You will have the option to pay on line using a Credit Card or PayPal. You can register up to 5 bowlers in one submission.
AVERAGES: Sport and challenge averages will be converted to standard averages for the purpose of handicaps. Average used for purpose of handicap will be as follows (in order of priority):
1) Highest ending average for the 2018-19 season of 21 games or more.
2) If no last year’s average use current average as of October 1, 2019 of 9 games or more. It is the responsibility of the adult leader or individual bowler to furnish the appropriate standing sheet from each league bowled.
3) If no 9 game average as of October 1, 2019, bowlers may provide a standing sheet and recap sheet at time of tournament to reach the 9 game requirement. Multiple leagues may be combined if needed to reach the 9 game requirement.
